KC certification introduction

The implementation plan of the KC mark is as follows:
December 2008: Amend the "Basic Law of National Standards" and its enforcement orders;
July 2009: The Ministry of Knowledge Economy began to implement and adopt the national unified KC mark;
January 2009 to December 2010: Amend the laws related to standard certification;
January 2011: The KC mark was applied to all certifications.

What is KC certification?
Answer: The KC certification of information and communication equipment is a compulsory certification system implemented in accordance with Article 33 of the Basic Law of Korea Electric Communication and Article 46 and Article 57 of the Radio Law.
Why obtain the KC certification mark?
Answer: All products (or equipment) listed in Chapter 3 of the "Implementation Rules for Information and Telecommunications Equipment Certification" must be certified and affixed with a certification mark before they can be produced, imported or sold in Korea.
Does the Korean KC certification of wireless Bluetooth headset require factory audit?
Answer: The export of wireless products to Korea does not require factory inspection.
What materials do I need to prepare when applying for KC certification?
1. KC application form (excel editable file and signed and sealed version are required)
2. Applicant's business license
3. Product manual in Korean (document that can be edited)
4. Schematic diagram (including module part)
5. Bit number map (including module part)
6. Antenna specification (please provide 2D Pattern, including the pattern of high, middle and low frequency points, the Peak Gain value of high, middle and low frequency points is consistent with the 2D pattern display)
7. Fixed frequency software
8. Fixed frequency operation SOP (English version is fine)
Note that all wiring diagrams and bit number diagrams must correspond one to one.
