The scope of application of GB8898 test
1. 2. For equipment powered by non-grid power supply or power supply equipment, including laser system or internal working voltage greater than 4000V peak value, GB8898 standard can also be used when applicable;

4. The GB8898 standard is applicable to audio and video equipment whose rated voltage does not exceed single-phase AC 250V or DC power supply 250V, and the equipment connected to non-single-phase power supply is AC 433V;
5. Audio and video equipment below 2000m above sea level, mainly used in dry areas and temperate or tropical areas;
6. The GB8898 standard is applicable to the audio and video equipment that is scheduled to be connected to the grid power supply whose transient overvoltage does not exceed the overvoltage category II specified in GB16935.1 (IEC60664-1).
